Sharp Pins is the lo-fi pop project of Chicago musician Kai Slater, also known for his work with Lifeguard and Dwaal Troupe. Mod Mayday 23 collects songs originally released on a limited home-recorded cassette through Hallogallo. Recorded and mixed by Slater on a Tascam Porta One, the album captures his rough-edged, melodic garage pop sound. Mastered by Amy Dragon.
