Pixies - COME ON PILGRIM LP

Released in 1987, Come On Pilgrim introduced the world to the strange, loud, and completely original sound of Pixies. Blending surf rock, punk, noise, and surreal lyricism, the band’s debut mini LP laid the groundwork for alternative rock throughout the late 1980s and 1990s.

Produced by Gary Smith, the record moves quickly through angular guitars, sudden shifts in dynamics, and offbeat songwriting that would soon become the band’s trademark. Tracks like “Caribou,” “Vamos,” and “Levitate Me” showcase the raw energy and unpredictability that made the group so influential, while quieter moments like “Isla De Encanta” highlight the band’s atmospheric side.
